Patrick Wood

Patrick Wood is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as the Group Financial Controller at Adaptimmune since November 2021, Patrick also held the position of Financial Reporting Manager. Prior to this role, Patrick worked at Deloitte UK from October 2014 to November 2021, rising to Senior Manager in the Accounting Advisory group, where expertise was provided in complex accounting across various standards including FRS 102, IFRS, and US GAAP, with a focus on the technology sector and technical accounting due diligence. Patrick began their career in finance as a Temporary Accounts Assistant at St Edmund Hall in 2013, supporting the finance department. Educational qualifications include an ACA from ICAEW (2014-2017) and a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Warwick (2011-2014).
