Computational Biologist II at Adaptive Biotechnologies

Daniel Levings is a seasoned computational biologist with extensive experience in biomedical research and data analysis. Currently serving as a Computational Biologist II at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. since December 2022, Daniel utilizes integrative genomics methodologies to investigate transcription factor roles in cellular stress responses. Prior roles include Researcher 5 at the University of Minnesota Medical School, focusing on transcription factor regulation during stress conditions, and Postdoctoral Associate in Dr. Matthew Slattery's lab, where research centered on the NRF2 transcription factor in metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases. Daniel obtained a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics from the University of Minnesota, where research involved heparan sulfate proteoglycans in stem cell biology. Additional experience includes freelance Excel training sessions and a role as Associate Research Specialist at the Lake Superior Research Institute, optimizing biodiesel production processes. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
