Eric Torskey

Director, Product Management at Adaptive Biotechnologies

Eric Torskey has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and research industries. Eric started their career in 2002 at the University of Washington, where they held various managerial roles, overseeing laboratory operations and managing grant and contract proposals. In 2012, they joined the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center as a Program Administrator, responsible for the oversight of a large group supporting a multi-million dollar contract. Since 2014, Eric has been working at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., where they have held several positions, including Senior Manager, Grants and Project Management, Senior Project Manager, Commercial Planning & Strategy Senior Manager, and Commercial Planning & Strategy Associate Director. In these roles, they have been involved in strategic planning, market research, and operational launches, contributing to the commercial success of the clonoSEQ genomic assays.

Eric Torskey has a strong education background in creative writing and English language and literature. Eric obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College, which they attended from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature at The University of Kansas, studying there from 1982 to 1987.

In addition to their formal education, Eric Torskey has also obtained a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in December 2020.
