Gladys Keitany

Gladys Keitany is an accomplished immunologist with extensive experience in antibody discovery and infectious disease research. Currently serving as the Director of Antibody Discovery at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. since December 2018, Keitany has held various leadership roles in the field. Previous positions include Technical Services Scientist at NanoString Technologies, Inc. and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Washington, where significant contributions were made in characterizing immune responses to parasitic infections, particularly malaria. Keitany's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Public Health and multiple degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Texas Christian University. Throughout the career, Keitany has demonstrated expertise in managing research projects, mentoring students, and publishing scientific work, with a focus on understanding the immune system's interplay with infectious diseases.
