Matthew Knight

Matthew Knight, PhD, currently serves as Senior Business Development Manager for MRD Pharma at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., a position held since January 2023. Previously, Matthew held the role of Director of Business Development in Cell and Gene Therapy at Discovery Life Sciences from April 2022 to January 2023, and served as a Scientific Liaison at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. from April 2020 to March 2022. Matthew's academic background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago, focusing on the collaborative design of a universal influenza vaccine, and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of California, Berkeley, during which Matthew conducted significant research on Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Matthew's earlier experiences include roles as a Laboratory Technician with the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Center for Environmental Genomics.
