Nathan Burton

Support Specialist, Customer Advocate at Adaptive Computing

Nathan Burton has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Nathan began their career in 1990 at GTE as a Customer Representative and Language Assistant. Nathan then worked at Western Electronics as a Machine Operator and Assembler, where they gained experience in troubleshooting LAN problems and repairing computer components. Nathan later joined Elkridge City Utah as a Volunteer Firefighter for seven years. In 1998, they became a Corrections Officer and Housing Officer at the Utah Department of Corrections, overseeing inmates and preparing incident reports. Nathan then joined Convergys as a Nortel Networks Support Engineer, troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues and researching software and hardware bugs. Nathan further advanced their technical support skills at NACT Solutions, LLC, where they resolved customer trouble tickets related to telecom switching equipment and computers. In 2007, Nathan joined Adaptive Computing as a Support Specialist and Customer Advocate, assisting customers with HPC scheduling software and resolving software problems on large computer clusters. Most recently, they have been working at eFileCabinet as a Support Specialist, helping clients with document management software and troubleshooting issues related to server connectivity.

Nathan Burton's education history includes attending the South County Ambulance Association until 2000. Prior to that, they attended UVSC, Fire and Rescue Academy until 1995. Before that, they attended Cerritos College until 1992. Nathan completed their high school education at Payson Senior High School in 1987.
