Chief Executive Officer at Adaptive Investment Solutions

Philip Sun has extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Philip is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Adaptive Investment Solutions since May 2019. In addition, they are an Adjunct Professor at Questrom School of Business, Boston University starting in September 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Philip has held various positions in reputable companies. From April 2019, they worked as a Professor and Research Fellow at Hult International Business School. Before that, they were the Head of Quantitative Research and Investments at Sentinel Investments, a division of National Life Group, from February 2016 to April 2018.

Philip also served as a Quantitative Analyst at Fidelity Investments from January 2013 to February 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President, Quantitative Analyst at Wellington Management from August 2007 to December 2012.

Furthermore, Philip has experience at Highbridge Capital Management as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager from July 2006 to April 2007, and as a Portfolio Manager at PanAgora Asset Management from May 2004 to July 2006.

Philip Sun has pursued a diverse education history. Philip completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Dual Degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Stony Brook University. Following this, they went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, Philip is studying at The Wharton School, where they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
