Alvaro Roman Royo

Alvaro Roman Royo is a Clinical Data Manager at Adaptive Sensory Technology, Inc., starting in January 2024. Previously, Alvaro served as an Applications Engineer at Varex Imaging Corporation, where responsibilities included leading the development of a spectral imaging assessment tool and training colleagues. Alvaro gained experience as a Medical Physics Intern at Klinikum rechts der Isar, focusing on the calibration of imaging machines, and as a Postgraduate Research Assistant at the Walter Schottky Institute, contributing to cancer drug development. Additional experience includes a research internship at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre and serving as an Academic Tutor at Charles III University of Madrid. Alvaro holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics from the Technical University of Munich and a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, alongside an exchange program at Queensland University of Technology.
