Matteo Contino

Matteo Contino is a Senior Scientist at Adaptix Ltd since June 2023, with prior experience as a Systems Engineer at Refeyn from May 2021 to February 2023 and as a Hardware Engineer at Oxford HighQ between July 2018 and May 2021. Matteo also served as a Research Associate at the University of Oxford from November 2017 to July 2018, focusing on developing hardware for integrated microfluidics and photonics instruments. Prior to this, Matteo was a Lab Demonstrator at the University of Warwick from September 2013 to October 2017, instructing students in optical pumping experiments. Matteo completed a PhD in Physics at the University of Warwick, where research involved studying the motility of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii using microfluidic devices and optical techniques. Matteo also has a Master's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, both obtained from Politecnico di Milano, along with a scientific high school diploma from Liceo Scientifico.
