Matteo Contino

Matteo Contino is a physicist turned product builder, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Adaptix Ltd since 2023. Previously, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Refeyn from 2021 to 2023 and as a Hardware Engineer at Oxford HighQ from 2018 to 2021. Matteo began their academic career at the University of Warwick, where they earned a PhD in 2017, studying the biology of microorganisms. They also served as a Research Associate at the University of Oxford and a Lab Demonstrator during their time at the University of Warwick, where they guided students through optical pumping experiments.
