Michael Tweedie is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in high-end gastronomy. Currently serving as Executive Head Chef at Adare Manor since June 2017, Michael oversees the Michelin-starred Oak Room restaurant, contributing to the establishment's accolades, including a Five-Star rating from Forbes Travel Guide and recognition as the #1 Resort in the World by Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. Prior to this role, Michael held positions as Head Chef at Ballyfin Demesne, Sous Chef at Gidleigh Park (a two-Michelin-star establishment), and Junior Sous Chef at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa (a one-Michelin-star venue). Michael's culinary foundation was built at St. Wilfreds, Exeter.
