Kimberly Fultz

Director of Translational Biology at ADARx Pharmaceuticals

Kimberly Fultz, MS, Ph.D. has worked in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry for over 18 years. In 2002, they began their career as a Senior Scientist at Celgene. In 2016, they joined Organovo Holdings, Inc. as a Senior Scientist/Cell Core Supervisor, where they designed and created functional human tissues using proprietary three-dimensional bioprinting technology. In 2019, they moved to Plexium as a Principal Scientist. Most recently, in 2020, they joined ADARx Pharmaceuticals Inc. as the Director of Translational Biology and Principal Scientist, where they are discovering and developing innovative therapeutics that utilize a family of endogenous enzymes called adenosine deaminase acting on RNA (ADAR).

Kimberly Fultz earned their B.A. in Human Biology from Scripps College in 1995. Kimberly then went on to obtain their M.S. in Molecular & Cellular Biology from San Diego State University in 1998. Kimberly completed their Ph.D. in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona in 2002.
