Millad Pessian

Millad Pessian has held various positions in the scientific field since 2013. In 2013, they were a Summer Intern- HDD NPI at WD, a Western Digital company. From 2014-2015, they were a Research Assistant - Dairy Science at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, a Volunteer Assistant at Randall C. Voss, D.M.D., an Intern Assistant at Basti Dental, and a Caterer and Busser at TASTE! Catering & Eatery. In 2016, they were a Chemistry Intern at E. & J. Gallo Winery. From 2017-2019, they were an Associate Scientist at Janssen Inc., a Chemistry Technician at HP, and an Associate Scientist at WellGreens CA. Currently, they are a Research Associate at ADARx Pharmaceuticals Inc., where they are responsible for synthesizing, purifying, and delivering synthetic RNA for In vivo and In vitro studies. Millad also performs synthesis of synthetic oligonucleotides with Mermade 12 Synthesizer instrument and carries out cleavage and deprotection of crude oligonucleotides from support.

Millad Pessian graduated from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a minor in History.
