Robert Karkari Darko has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Robert began their career at CAL Bank Ltd as the Head of Credit Unit in the Relationship and Institutional Banking Department. Robert later joined Stanbic Bank, Ghana as the Head of Corporate Credit. At ADB - Agricultural Development Bank Ghana, they served as the Executive Head of SME Banking, where they were responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive the SME business. Robert also held the position of Head of Credit Risk Management Department at ADB, overseeing the credit risk function for all business units.
Robert Karkari Darko has an Associate degree in Professional Banking from the Institute of Financial Services (Chartered Institute of Banking) in England. Robert also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Statistics from the University of Ghana. Additionally, they have obtained a Master's degree in Development Economics, specifically a MPIL, from the University of Oslo (UiO).
