Annie first identified an industry-wide need for workflow automation solutions as a top-billing account executive with Time Warner Cable. Working with her husband, software engineer Michael Phelps, she defined the original specifications for adSails software. After extensive field-testing of the product in her sales office, she founded adBlocks with husband Michael and co-founder Kevin Bowe to market the database solution to the larger ad sales community.
Before moving into sales, Annie worked in college admissions at the University of Massachusetts. She graduated magna cum laude in history and philosophy from Nasson College.
