Ihab Shalaby is an experienced financial professional with a diverse background in internal control, credit management, and risk management. As of January 2025, Ihab serves as a Financial Advisor while simultaneously holding the position of Head of Internal Control at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank since September 2020. Prior to that, Ihab spent several years at Union National Bank Egypt, occupying various roles from November 2013, including Head of Internal Control and Senior Vice President, and also managing the Retail Credit and Corporate Credit Divisions. Earlier experience includes a role as Deputy Head of the Risk Management Division at Union National Bank from July 2008 to 2013 and as Head of the Credit Department at Union National Bank from June 2007 to June 2008. Ihab began a career in credit management as Assistant Credit General Manager at Alexandria Commercial & Maritime Bank from 2003 to 2007.
