Damir Arbula

Damir Arbula is a Senior Software Engineer at Adcubum Hrvatska since October 2023, with a substantial previous tenure at Google from October 2019 to April 2023 as a Software Engineer, where responsibilities included leading the development and implementation of an internal access control management system in Java and participating in the design of a new system in Go. Prior to Google, Damir served as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering RITEH University of Rijeka from June 2004 to October 2019, teaching various courses and designing web applications. Damir co-founded E-GLAS, where development of a voice-controlled home automation platform for individuals with disabilities was a key achievement. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Distributed Algorithms and Wireless Sensor Networks from FER, along with a master’s and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Radiocommunications, respectively.
