Juan Ignacio de Oyarbide is an experienced professional in the field of actuarial science with a focus on business development and pricing. Currently serving as a Manager at addactis since August 2019, Juan Ignacio develops global business strategies and oversees pricing implementations. Previous roles include Consultant and Pricing Actuary, where Juan Ignacio provided pricing solutions for personal and commercial lines across multiple regions including Iberia, the US, Middle East, and Latin America. Prior to this, Juan Ignacio gained valuable experience as an Actuarial Intern at Mercer and Grupo ACTUARIAL, where the focus was on pension valuations and actuarial reserving. Academically, Juan Ignacio holds a Master’s in Actuarial Science from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management and has participated in a student exchange program, further solidifying expertise in risk management and insurance.
