Inder Grewal is the VP of Data Vendor and Custodian Partnerships at Addepar. Inder has over 15 years of experience in financial services.

Inder started their career at Moody's KMV as the Head of Market Data. Inder then moved to IHS Markit in 2007 and became the Global Head of Alliances. In 2010, they became the Managing Director - Content Acquisiton and Rights Management. Inder was responsible for creating and managing a firm-wide content supply chain management function that powered $3.6B in annual revenue during 2017.

Inder has extensive experience working with executives to negotiate mission critical content licenses with competitors (Bloomberg, ICE, S&P Global, Thomson Reuters) and managed “co-opetition” on a day-to-day basis. Inder has also removed significant barriers to innovation and eliminated $18M in costs by identifying and driving supply chain optimization opportunities, including the rationalization of multiple consolidated exchange pricing services.

In their role at Addepar, Inder partners with 20 P&L owners to develop new products and enhance existing services. Inder also led 3rd party data related due diligence that provided insights into go/no go decisions across 14 acquisitions that fueled firmwide earnings growth.

Inder Grewal has a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and International Business from McGill University.

They work with Ruchir Swarup - Chief Technology Officer, Mitchell Bompey - General Counsel, and Don Nilsson - Chief Product Officer. Their manager is Eric Poirier, CEO.
