Matt Takvorian

Matt Takvorian has a diverse work experience in the field of business development and laboratory management. Matt has served as the Director of Business Development - Licensing at Addgene since 2019. Before that, they worked as the Director of Business Development at Absolute Antibody from 2018 to 2019 and at Kerafast from 2013 to 2019. Matt also gained experience as a Biochemistry Intern & Laboratory Manager at Advanced Liquid Logic from 2011 to 2012. Matt started their career as a Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University in 2011. Matt has also been involved in various research and case study projects, including serum-free media design at Humacyte in 2011 and technology and market evaluation at Syngenta Seeds in 2010. In addition, they worked as an Operations Manager & Lab Technician at Addgene from 2008 to 2010 and participated in onsite construction projects with Americorps - Our Towns Habitat for Humanity from 2006 to 2007.

Matt Takvorian earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from Boston College in 2006. Matt then pursued a Master of Microbial Biotechnology at North Carolina State University from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in BioSciences Management at North Carolina State University from 2012 to 2013.
