Alex Bacelar

Alex Bacelar is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in managing diverse teams and projects. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager at Addi since July 2022, Alex oversees Merchant Acquisition and Success squads, which include Frontend, Backend, and Support Engineers. Prior to this, Alex spent over 13 years at Serpro Brasil, holding various roles including Senior Engineering Manager, where a core module for Plataforma +Brasil was developed to assist the Brazilian Federal Government. Alex's earlier positions at Serpro included roles in software engineering, project management, and agile coaching, showcasing a comprehensive expertise in software development and team management. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Centro Universitário UNIEURO.
