Mitja Bencina

Mitja Bencina is an experienced banking professional with a strong background in risk management and transformation. Currently serving as Director of Risk Stream Transformation & Development at Addiko Bank AG since October 2021, Mitja previously held multiple roles within the Addiko Bank group, including Advisor to the Management Board and Director of Risk Quantification and Reporting. Prior experience also includes a directorial position at HETA ASSET RESOLUTION Slovenia and a Credit Risk Controller role at Hvpo Bank d.d. Mitja began a career in finance after obtaining an Academic Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Primorska, complemented by training in leadership at the IEDC - Bled School of Management.
