Marin Karaga, FRM has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Marin is currently serving as the Executive Director of Credit Risk Management at Addiko Bank Hrvatska. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of the Quantitative Modeling Department at Hrvatska poštanska banka, d.d. from November 2020 to June 2023. Marin also held various roles at Raiffeisen Bank International AG, including Senior Market Risk Manager and Market Risk Team Leader - Chief Risk Manager. Marin Karaga's early career saw him contribute significantly at Intesa SanPaolo Group (Privredna banka Zagreb) as the Chief Analyst - Team Coordinator, where they were responsible for market risk management, project coordination, and employee support and education.

Marin Karaga, FRM has a strong educational background in both mathematics and economics. From 2000 to 2006, they attended the Department of Mathematics at the University of Zagreb, where they obtained a Master's degree in mathematics with a focus on Mathematical Statistics and Probability. After completing their first degree, Marin pursued further education in the field of economics. From 2008 to 2011, they attended the Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb at the University of Zagreb, where they earned a Master's degree in economics with a specialization in Financial Institutions and Markets.
