Leah Gleason

Leah Gleason, SHRM-CP, LPC, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Leah most recently worked at Addison Group, where they held the position of Director of Benefits and was responsible for managing broker associates, overseeing benefits enrollment, and implementing a company-wide wellness program. Prior to that, Leah worked at Orsini Specialty Pharmacy as a Human Resources Manager, where they maintained compliance with employment regulations, created company policies, and partnered with the senior leadership team. Leah also served as a Human Resources Associate at the same company, managing employee relations and conducting new employee orientations. Leah gained experience as a Mental Health Therapist Intern at Atlantic Street Center, where they provided counseling services and focused on areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Leah also worked as a Community Life Leader at Willow Creek Community Church, planning events and organizing volunteer opportunities, and as an Axis and Student Impact Intern at the same church, overseeing small group activities and developing curriculum. Leah began their career at Suburban Elevator Company as an Office Manager, handling customer care, scheduling maintenance calls, and managing payroll and benefits. Throughout their career, Leah has demonstrated expertise in human resources, benefits administration, counseling, event planning, and leadership.

Leah Gleason, SHRM-CP, LPC has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, which they obtained from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Bethel University from 2004 to 2006 for Transformational Leadership, and Judson University from 2002 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Services. In terms of certifications, Leah has obtained the Mental Health Counselor Associate License from the Washington State Department of Health in September 2018, the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in January 2015, the Lay Counseling Certificate from The Allender Center in 2013, and the Licensed Professional Counselor designation from the State of Illinois in March 2021.
