Luís Oliveira

Luís Oliveira is an experienced AM Application Engineer at Additive Industries since November 2022, providing support to the sales team by delivering high-quality benchmark parts and leading a project on creating a build processor in Autodesk Netfabb for MetalFAB. Previously, Luís served as a Metal Additive Manufacturing Engineer at Simoldes Group from November 2018 to October 2022, focusing on Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) processes, optimizing parameters, reducing defects, and implementing standards for the automotive sector. Luís began the career as an Engineering Trainee after completing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in 2018 and an Erasmus+ program in Mechanical Engineering at JAMK University of Applied Sciences in 2017.
