Andrew Johnston

Andrew Johnston is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, particularly in cross-border M&A and private equity transactions. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Addleshaw Goddard since November 2013, Andrew has also held prominent roles as Partner and Head of Region GCC and Head of Middle East and Asia. Prior to this, Andrew was a Partner at K&L Gates in Dubai, focusing on the MENA region, and served as a Senior Associate at Clifford Chance, specializing in corporate M&A. Earlier career milestones include an Associate position in the private equity team at Lovells and a Contracts Manager role at GKN Aerospace. Andrew's foundational experience also includes service as an Army Officer with The Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Academically, Andrew holds an LLB in Law from Cardiff University and completed legal training at The Oxford Institute of Legal Practice, following military training at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
