John Darmody

John Darmody is currently a Partner at Addleshaw Goddard, with previous experience as a Managing Associate at the firm. Prior to this role, John served as a Senior Associate at DAC Beachcroft Dublin from September 2019 to July 2023 and as an Associate Solicitor at ByrneWallace from September 2016 to August 2019. John began the legal career as a Solicitor at Eugene F. Collins, where tenure lasted from September 2011 to September 2016, including time as a Trainee Solicitor. Earlier experience includes a position as a Building Stores Operative at M.D. O'Shea & Sons, focusing on customer service and preparation of building material orders, as well as a role as a Student Legal Researcher at the Office of the Attorney General. John holds a BCL (Hons) degree in Law from University College Cork and completed legal education at the Law Society of Ireland.
