Kanarupan K. has a long history of work experience. Kanarupan started their career in 2009 as a Graduate at the University of Moratuwa. In 2012, they were an Intern Software Engineer at WSO2. In 2014, they became an Engineer Technology at ACCELaero - Information Systems Associates FZE, where they were exposed to Data Science and the Hadoop ecosystem. In 2017, they were a Senior Software Consultant at Helius Technologies and a Java Developer at blu. In 2018, they were a Senior Software Engineer at CodeGen International and a Team Manager/Lead Developer at JGSL. In 2021, they were a Back-end Principal Engineer at Crossover for Work and is currently a Senior Developer at AddSearch.

Kanarupan K. completed a Secondary Studies at J/ Victoria College from 2000 to 2008. Kanarupan then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science [ BSc (Hons) ] in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Moratuwa from 2009 to 2013. Kanarupan continued their education at the University of Moratuwa, graduating with a Master's degree in Data Science and Engineering in 2022. In addition, Kanarupan K. has obtained numerous certifications from Coursera and LinkedIn between 2021 and 2023.
