Kimmo Väisänen

Kimmo Vehkalahti has been the Director of the Master's Programme in Contemporary Societies (COS) at the University of Helsinki since August 1993. In addition, Kimmo serves as a Social Data Scientist and Statistician, specializing in social statistics, measurement, multivariate methods, visualization, and statistical computing using Survo R. Prior to this role, Kimmo worked in the ICT field at Dativo Ltd from September 1988 to January 1993. Kimmo holds multiple degrees from the University of Helsinki, including a Doctorate in Political Science, Licentiate, and Master's degree in Statistics, complemented by education at Sibelius-lukio from 1983 to 1986.
