Carollyn Kavanagh is a seasoned communications strategist, designer, and independent curator with extensive experience in the arts sector. Currently serving as the Marketing and Communications Manager at the Australian Network for Art and Technology since May 2018, Carollyn leads audience engagement and storytelling initiatives. As the SALA Festival Project Curator since August 2015, Carollyn is responsible for the annual exhibition at Adelaide Airport. In the role of Curator for Art at T1 with Adelaide Airport Limited since January 2018, Carollyn promotes South Australian artists through curated exhibitions. Previous positions include Communications and Design Officer at Guildhouse, Emerging Curator at the City of Adelaide and Arts South Australia, and multiple internships in contemporary art galleries in Indonesia and Singapore. Carollyn holds a Master of Arts in Curatorial & Museum Studies from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Design in Illustration and Visual Communication from the University of South Australia.
