Heather Sprague

Heather Sprague, PHR, SHRM-CP has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Heather is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Adena Health System since March 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Regional Chief Human Resources Officer at Trinity Health from March 2018 to March 2019. From August 2014 to March 2019, Heather held the position of Regional Vice President of HR/CHRO at Saint Alphonsus. Heather also worked at Mercy Health as the Vice President/Chief HR Officer from January 2012 to November 2014, and as the HR Director from January 2008 to January 2012. Before joining Mercy Health, they were the Managing Partner at Midwest HR Solution, LLC from 2006 to 2008. Heather started their career as the HR and Diversity Director at Triangle Associates from 1999 to 2006.

Heather Sprague, PHR, SHRM-CP completed their Masters in Human Resources and Organizational Development from Western Michigan University from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications such as Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2016 and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in March 2015. Heather also holds certifications from the Center for Creative Leadership, Prosci, and Outcome Engenuity LLC, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
