Paul Barczak

Paul Barczak has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Paul began their career in 1991 as a Computer Programmer at Michigan State University and UNISYS Corporation. In 1993, they joined Convex Computer Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they worked on networked file system implementations and TCP/IP stack implementations. In 1996, they moved to Hewlett Packard as a Sr Software Engineer, where they were the Operating System lead and development engineer. In 1998, they took on the role of VP, Engineering at Sterling Commerce, where they were part of the initial GENTRAN Integration Suite/SI team and led infrastructure components, labs, architecture, implementation, release, and support teams. In 2007, they became the CEO & Founder of Adept Engineering Solutions, and in 2014 they founded Genuine Commerce (GenuCom), where they serve as President & Principal. At GenuCom, they specialize in consulting services for IBM's Sterling Integration, B2B Commerce, and Managed File Transfer products.

Paul Barczak obtained a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Michigan State University in 1991. Paul then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University, where they were a University Fellow, from 1986 to 1996.
