Angel Villarroel

Angel Villarroel is an experienced operations manager with a robust background in the drilling and energy sectors. Currently serving as Operations Manager for Qatar and India Operations at ADES - Advanced Energy Systems since January 2023, Angel previously held various managerial and engineering roles at Vantage Drilling from January 2010 to December 2022, including Rig Manager and Operations Engineer. Angel's experience also includes technical sales and engineering positions at MacGREGOR Plimsoll Singapore and Premium Drilling, and a maintenance engineer role at PDVSA. Angel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, earned between 1997 and 2003.
