Hossam Elkholy

Hossam Elkholy is an experienced Offshore Rig Manager at ADES - Advanced Energy Systems, overseeing the TOPAZ DRILLER RIG as part of a joint venture with VANTAGE. Previously, Hossam served as Assistant Rig Manager and Operations Engineer at VANTAGE DRILLING, supporting operations on the Tungsten Explorer drillship. Prior roles at ADES included Assistant Rig Manager, Operations Engineer, and Driller, where responsibilities encompassed leadership, compliance with regulations, and coordination among departments for efficient drilling operations. Hossam has a background in operations engineering from Trust Petroleum Service and valuable leadership experience as Head of Coordination & Logistics at GOL. Early career involvement includes project management at JELECOM. Hossam holds a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering from Al-Azhar University and completed high school at Tawakl Institute with a focus on Petroleum Engineering.
