Mehdi Hamel

Mehdi Hamel is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) management, as well as supply chain operations. Currently serving as Vice President of QHSSE & Sustainability at ADES - Advanced Energy Systems since March 2022, Mehdi previously held the position of Global QHSSE Director at ARO Drilling from January 2020 to March 2022. Prior roles at Schlumberger from 2002 to 2020 include positions such as Director of Supply Chain for North Africa, Sr HSE Manager, and various managerial roles overseeing significant operations in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Mehdi holds an Engineer's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Houari Boumerdiene University of Technology and Science, earned between 1993 and 2000.
