Dr. Dominik Langer

Dr. Dominik Langer has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Dr. Dominik is currently the Head of Business Line Cloud, Data & Security at adesso Schweiz AG, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Digital and Innovation Officer (CDIO) at the same company starting in June 2019.

Before joining adesso Schweiz AG, Dr. Langer worked at Synpulse Management Consulting for seven years. During their time there, they held various roles including Associate Partner, Head of Competence Center Digital Transformation, Manager, and Senior Consultant.

Dr. Langer also gained valuable research experience at the University of Zurich. Dr. Dominik served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist from September 2011 to August 2012 and as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2006 to August 2011.

In addition, they have held leadership positions at SiROP Association as the CTO from 2004 to 2009, and as a Teaching Faculty member at AKAD from 2003 to 2005.

Dr. Dominik Langer's early career involved teaching, having worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Zurich from 2003 to 2005.

Afterward, they pursued further studies at ETH Zürich and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neuroscience from 2006 to 2011. To enhance their business acumen, Dr. Langer attended IESE Business School from 2022 to 2023, where they pursued a Global Executive MBA.
