UX Research Lead at Adevinta

Martin Keuler has extensive work experience in the field of UX research and consulting. Martin started their career in 2011 as a Student Research Assistant at the Universitätsklinikum Tübingen, Department for addiction research, where they worked on a study comparing the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy vs. hypnotherapy on quitting smoking.

In 2013, Martin joined SirValUse Consulting GmbH as a Usability Testing and UX Researcher, where they supported planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative UX research for larger companies. Martin also gave workshops, assisted in conceptualizing workshops, and wrote blog articles for clients' online presence.

In addition to their work at SirValUse Consulting GmbH, Martin worked as a Freelance UX Researcher & Consultant, providing research and improvement services to startups such as Groovecat and mecodia. Martin also collaborated with Hendrik Wilmanns and zweiteHeimat on conceptual work and prototyping for Telekom.

From 2013 to 2018, Martin worked at GfK as a UX Researcher & Consultant, conducting UX research and providing consultation services for various projects, mostly for larger companies like booking.

In 2018, Martin joined Grover as their first UX Researcher and contributed to the company's success as it grew to become one of Germany's best-funded scale-ups with over 500 employees. Martin built a highly-valued and impactful UX research capacity, enabling product teams and the company to take a user-centered and data-informed approach to design and decision-making. Martin held the position of Senior UX Researcher until May 2021, after which they became the UX Research Lead until September 2022.

Most recently, in 2023, Martin has taken on the role of UX Research Lead at both Adevinta and mobile.de, further expanding their expertise in leading UX research teams.

Martin Keuler obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychology from the University of Tübingen.
