Michael Nilles

Michael Nilles currently serves as the Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) at Henkel since October 2019 and is also an Independent Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Transformation Committee at Adevinta. Nilles holds additional positions including Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at valantic and at Lufthansa Technik, and has been a Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Technology & Innovation Committee at FogHorn Systems, Inc. since 2017. Previous roles include Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at Lufthansa, Member of the Advisory Board at IOTA Foundation, and Independent Board Member at Medela and Predikto. Nilles has extensive experience in digital and information technology leadership, having served as Executive Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Digital Officer at Schindler Group from 2009 to 2019. Educational qualifications include an Executive Scholar in Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a Master’s degree in Computer Science & Business Administration from the University of Cologne.
