Peter Maas

Peter Maas is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Interim CTO for Marktplaats/2dehands and as an Ambassador for the Adevinta Allyship community at Adevinta since June 2021. With a strong belief in equitable treatment, Peter guides Adevinta Product & Technology towards the future of online marketplaces and heads the SPACE initiative for high-end product development. Previously, Peter held significant roles at eBay, including Senior Director of Global Technology and Director of Data for the eBay Classifieds Group, where responsibilities encompassed a wide range of technology solutions and core B2C capabilities. Earlier career experiences include leadership positions at Marktplaats.nl, Finalist IT Group, and Noterik BV, alongside freelance programming assignments. Peter holds a Master's degree in Software Development for Audio and Music from HKU, graduating Cum Laude.
