Roderik Hylkema

Roderik Hylkema has extensive experience in corporate strategy, M&A, and business development. Roderik currently holds the position of VP Global Strategy & Ventures at Adevinta since June 2021. Prior to this, Roderik worked at eBay, where they served as CFO and global head of M&A Classifieds Group, overseeing various eBay Classifieds businesses and the global advertising business. Roderik also held the role of Senior Director Strategy and M&A, post-merger integration for eBay UK and Senior Director Strategy, M&A and Analytics, Global Classifieds. Before eBay, Roderik was the Head of Corporate Strategy, M&A, Regulatory at Vodafone Netherlands, leading the corporate strategy and business development team. Roderik also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager, focusing on strategy consulting, due diligence, and valuations. Roderik began their career at KPMG, specializing in commercial and operational due diligence for Telecom, Media, and Technology (TMT) clients. Roderik also served as a Strategy & Competition officer at ACM - Autoriteit Consument & Markt.

Roderik Hylkema completed their MSc in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management at Delft University of Technology from 1999 to 2003. In 2022, they attended the Chief Financial Officer Programme at London Business School.
