Xabi Balsera

Xabi Balsera has extensive experience in user experience and interaction design. Currently, they are working at Adevinta as a User Experience Lead, overseeing the UX work on data-related platforms. Prior to this, they were a Senior Interaction Designer at UnitedHealth Group, where they improved digital products and conducted customer workshops. Xabi also worked as a Senior Interaction Designer at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where they collaborated with Scrum teams and stakeholders to align experiences across different areas. Additionally, they worked as a User Experience Architect at bettermarks GmbH and as a User Experience Designer at niiu publishing GmbH. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Web Design Consultant at Eurojust and as an Interaction Designer at Ibermatica.

Xabi Balsera has a diverse education history. In 2011, they obtained an Expertise in Interaction Design and Usability from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, specializing in Human Computer Interaction. Before that, they pursued a Master's in Web Development and Programming from Area - School of Design and New Technologies, completing it in 2008. In 2005, they completed an Advanced Expertise in Graphic Design and Publishing from Aita Barandiaran Lizeoa, focusing on Graphic Design. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Product Discovery Coaching from Adevinta in 2021, Machine Learning for Business from Adevinta in 2020, and Web Analytics from Google in 2015.
