Kiran Kumar Yellupula has had a successful career in corporate communications and marketing. Kiran Kumar began their career as an Editor at Jasubhai Digital Media, where they contributed to pioneering techno-business publishing in India. Kiran Kumar then worked at Adfactors PR as a Group Head-Planning & Research, providing communication consultancy solutions for key accounts in various sectors.

In 2005, Kiran joined ITM Group as an Assistant Director, where they focused on enhancing the brand equity of the group through strategic marketing and communications initiatives. Kiran Kumar later moved to IBM as a Communications Partner and played a pivotal role in enhancing the reputation and brand equity of the company by differentiating its key technologies, solutions, and innovation initiatives.

After working at IBM for five years, Kiran joined Accenture as a General Manager-Marketing Communications, where they managed integrated marketing communications to support the company's mission of being a high-performance leader. Kiran Kumar then returned to IBM, this time as a Communications Partner responsible for managing corporate communications, branding, media and analyst relations, and marketing for various sectors and initiatives.

In 2012, Kiran joined IBM as a Communications Partner, focusing on the Corporate Communications function for Global Business Services. Kiran Kumar also ran initiatives on topics such as Smarter Cities, Big Data, Cloud, and Mobility. Moving on, they joined JLL as the Director of Marketing Communications, where they held a key role in the marketing and communications department until 2017.

In 2017, Kiran joined Visa as the Director of Corporate Communications, overseeing the company's external communications strategy. Most recently, they joined Adfactors PR in 2018 as the Group Head, where they are currently responsible for leading and managing the group.

Throughout their career, Kiran's expertise lies in strategic marketing, communications, branding, media relations, and integrated marketing communications. Kiran Kumar Yellupula's education history begins in 1986 when they enrolled at Sambalpur University. Kiran Kumar pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in an unspecified field, which they completed in 1989. Following this, they attended Delhi University from 1990 to 1992, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English Literature. Later, from 1994 to 1996, Kiran pursued another MA degree, this time in Linguistics, at Delhi University.

In 2012, Kiran enrolled in the Post Graduate Executive Program in Marketing Management at IIT Bombay - Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, completing the program in 2013. Subsequently, in 2013-2014, they attended the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where they pursued the Advanced Post Graduate Program in Strategic Management.

Most recently, in 2020-2021, Kiran completed the Post Graduate Executive Program at MIT Sloan School of Management, specializing in Digital Marketing.
