Varsha Chandrashekar has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Varsha started their career as a summer intern at Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy in 2015. Varsha then worked as an assistant professor of sociology at Jain University from 2016 to 2017, where they taught final year undergraduate students about the social fragments of India. In 2017, they served as an adjunct faculty at Christ University, Bangalore, teaching business administration students about the cultural and societal aspects of India.

In 2018, Varsha took on two different professor roles at the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) and taught courses on population and poverty studies as well as women's studies and gender issues. Varsha engaged the students in field visits, lectures, and assignments to provide a comprehensive learning experience. Additionally, they volunteered for Make A Difference, where they worked with middle school children to promote academic and social development.

In 2020, Varsha worked as a junior research fellow at St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences, focusing on a calcium intervention trial during pregnancy. Varsha followed up with pregnant women attending BBMP hospitals to study the outcomes of preeclampsia and preterm birth. Later that year, they also interned as a public relations intern at Edelman.

In 2021, Varsha joined Genesis BCW as an account executive, responsible for managing client accounts. Varsha then moved to Adfactors PR in 2022, initially serving as an account executive and later being promoted to a senior account executive role in 2023.

Varsha Chandrashekar completed their education in a chronological manner. Prior to that, they received a Masters in Applied Sociology from the same university, studying from 2014 to 2016. Varsha's Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, with a triple major in Sociology, Economics, and Psychology, was completed at Christ University from 2011 to 2014.

Before attending Christ University, Varsha completed their 11th and 12th grade at Jain International Residential School. During this time, their field of study was Business/Commerce, General. Additionally, they received their 12th Grade, C.B.S.E. qualification from the same school.

In terms of additional certifications, Varsha obtained a certificate in "Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects" from Coursera in November 2017. Varsha also achieved a Certificate of Achievement in Human Resources from Open2Study in June 2015. Varsha received the Third Place at the Institute of Social and Economic Change in Bangalore in December 2014.
