Michael Card

Michael Card has over 30 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Michael started their career in 1991 as a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin. Michael then moved to Saab Sensis Corporation as a Principal Engineer in 2002. From 2005 to 2014, they worked at SRC as a Senior Principal Engineer, where they designed and developed software modifications in C++ and Java. Michael then moved to CACI International Inc as a Principal Software Engineer in 2014, where they performed maintenance programming in Java. In 2015, they joined Dun & Bradstreet as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed back-end services code in Scala. In 2017, they joined Bazaarvoice as a Staff Software Engineer. Michael then moved to DISCO in 2019 as a Platform Software Architect. In 2020, they joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer 2. Most recently, they joined SparkCognition in 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, and they are currently working as a Senior Software Architect at Vizit since 2022.

Michael Card obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University in 1986, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University in 1989. In 2005, they obtained a Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems.
