Process Development Engineer at Adicet Bio

Sravani Mangalampalli has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceutical research. Sravani began their career as a Summer Intern at SUN PHARMA in 2013. Sravani then worked as a Trainee at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara in 2014. Following this, they worked as a Business Development Executive at Genetix Biotech Asia (P) Ltd., where they effectively communicated and promoted various products used in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research.

In 2017, Sravani joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Sr R&D Intern, where they closely worked with the R&D group to develop mass spectrometry reagents for protein quantification. Sravani also gained experience in cell culture, assay development, and protein data analysis.

Sravani then joined the University of Illinois at Chicago as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they assisted faculty in writing NIH grants and contributed to the lab's funding. Sravani also gained experience in animal handling and maintaining animal health.

From 2018 to 2020, Sravani worked at Senti Biosciences, first as a Research Associate in the In Vitro Platform-Cell Production, where they developed robust processes for small to mid-scale production of engineered stem cells. Sravani then transitioned to the Process Development Team (CMC/ Tech ops), where they contributed to the development and optimization of process development and manufacturing activities. Sravani worked on optimizing transduction and cell culture methods, developing aseptic scale-up processes, and collaborating with external teams.

Currently, Sravani is a Process Development Engineer at Adicet Bio, Inc., where they continue their work in process development and optimization.

Throughout their career, Sravani has demonstrated strong skills in process development, cell culture optimization, assay development, and collaboration with external teams.

Sravani Mangalampalli completed their Bachelor's of Technology in Biotechnology at SRM University from 2011 to 2015. Later, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology at the University of Illinois Chicago.
