Akhil Kapoor

Akhil Kapoor has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Akhil currently holds the position of Vice President - GBS (Global Procurement) at adidas since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis from 2010 to 2022, where they held various roles including Head of Novartis Global Service Center, Head of Procurement - APMA & Capability Centre, Regional Procurement Program Management, Head of Procurement - Africa, and Head of Country Procurement - India. Before joining Novartis, Akhil worked at Barclays as a Regional Category Manager and at Nortel as a Regional Sourcing Leader and Global Category Manager. Akhil began their career at Xerox India Ltd. as a Procurement Manager and also worked briefly at Honda Siel Cars India as a Graduate Trainee.

Akhil Kapoor obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Maharashtra University in the years 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their MBA in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Ohio University between 1998 and 2000. Akhil Kapoor also attended Daly College for two years from 1992 to 1994 for high school studies and Mount St. Mary's for their earlier high school education from 1981 to 1992.
