Norma Garcia is an entertainment industry veteran with a background in motion pictures, home entertainment, and premium cinema technology. Before joining Kaleidescape in Silicon Valley, Norma was integral to the launch of Dolby Cinema worldwide and the premium cinema experience at THX. Her previous posts include head of international marketing at Lucasfilm, where she oversaw strategy and positioning for the Star Wars, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Red Tails, and Indiana Jones franchises, and international marketing director at Paramount Pictures overseeing The Godfather and Mission Impossible. She was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in San Francisco and Top 50 Women in Global Cinema. As a consummate motivator empowering young women, she serves as a mentor for Women in Exhibition and UNIC Women’s Leadership Program. She sits on the board of the Poppy Jasper International Film Festival and Women in Consumer Technology. Norma received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
