Austin Coupe

Austin Coupe has extensive experience in the sports and innovation sectors, notably serving as Senior Manager of Innovation at adidas from May 2016 to February 2023, where responsibilities included driving the creation of advanced footwear concepts, managing cross-functional teams, and defining innovation calendars. Previously, Austin held the role of Manager of Basketball Innovation, focusing on product development and strategic planning for the basketball business unit, as well as Assistant Manager of Innovation, where market-leading concepts and processes were developed. Prior to adidas, Austin contributed to biomechanics research at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, served as an Assistant Coach for boys' varsity lacrosse, worked as a Medical Scribe at The Vancouver Clinic, and conducted undergraduate research at Oregon State University. Austin holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Biomechanics from UNLV and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from Oregon State University.
