Dr. Juergen Drebes

Dr. Juergen Drebes has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Dr. Juergen is currently serving as the Non Executive Director and Chairman of the Board at adidas International RE dac since November 2020. Prior to that, they were the Vorstandsvorsitzender/CEO at adidas Pension Trust e.V. from December 2017.

Dr. Drebes also worked at adidas, where they held the positions of Vice President Corporate Treasury from October 2017 and Senior Director Group Treasury from October 2015 to September 2017.

Before joining adidas, they were associated with Fresenius Group, where they worked as the Head of Risk Management from October 2012 to September 2015, Leiter Zinsmanagement from July 2009 to September 2012, and Manager Treasury International from December 2006 to June 2009.

Dr. Drebes started their career at CLAAS as an International Management Trainee from October 2003 to November 2004 before becoming a Referent Konzernfinanzierung from November 2004 to November 2006.

Dr. Juergen Drebes completed the adidas Executive Development Program at Harvard Business School in 2018-2019. Dr. Juergen obtained their Dr. rer. pol., Diplom-Kaufmann in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from The University of Göttingen in 1999-2003. In addition, they hold a certification as a Diplom-Kaufmann, although the institution and year of obtaining this certification are not specified. Dr. Juergen also briefly attended the University of Galway in 2000.
