Randy Tighe is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Director of Engineering for the Product Group Metals & Mechanisms at Adient since October 2016, Randy oversees all production products across 11 manufacturing plants, focusing on VAVE, product safety oversight, warranty analysis, and tooling transfers. Prior to this, Randy held the same director position at Johnson Controls from October 1982 to October 2016, where responsibilities included engineering analysis and management of global technical requirements. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Engineering at Ferro Manufacturing Corporation and as a Project Engineer at Ford Motor Company. Randy holds an MBA and two degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
